The Pathfinders are going on a one-night backpacking trip to Sky Meadows State Park on November 9th-10th. Scouts will meet at the parking lot at the park at 2:00 pm Saturday. Scouts can be picked up at the same parking lot 10:00 am Sunday.
We will be having a meeting between now and then to discuss how to pack, what to pack and answer any questions for those that plan to camp with us.
New pathfinders who are less than 5’6″ can borrow backpacks. Please specify on the form below if you need to borrow one. Unfortunately the troop doesn’t have backpacks to loan for taller scouts.
If you are a parent who plans to also backpack, please make that clear by either filling out the sign up form for yourself or adding a note to your scout’s sign up.
Scouts and parents who are joining the trip are expected to bring their own food, personal gear, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mat, uniforms, etc. Scouts will be expected to set up their own tents, cook their meals, participate in camping fun songs, follow the Scout Law, abide by the Black Bear rules, and have a good time in the woods.
